  Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, Sunday 1:00 pm–5:00 pm; closed Mondays, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day
Admission: Adults $10; Seniors, Military, Students 13 and up $5; Children 12 and under free. First Wednesday and third Sunday of every month are free. First Sunday of every months is free for military personnel and their families.
 
   
 
Home to one of the countries finest collection of Asian Art, The Honolulu Academy of Art displays artworks that represent Hawai’i’s diverse multicultural communities in a beautiful setting. Often voted as one of Hawaii’s most beautiful buildings the Academy boasts six different courtyards and the award-winning Pavilion Cafe. The Academy’s comprehensive art collection of Asian and Western art treasures of international repute provides a stimulating and enriching experience. The Academy is a museum for everyone.


 
  Collections: Encyclopedic collection of more than 50,000 works of art that spans more than 4,000 years. It is especially strong in Asian and European and American art, and includes works by such artists as Hokusai, van Gogh, Gauguin, Monet, Matisse, Whistler, Sargent, Eakins, Lee Bontecou, Robert Rauschenberg, and Won Ju Lim.

Programs and tours: guided tours, gallery talks, demonstrations, lectures, seminars, films, concerts, dance recitals, arts festivals and performing arts, school tours and school outreach programs, studio art, teacher training and a school loan service, inter-museum loans; permanent, temporary and traveling exhibitions; an extensive program of art classes and workshops for children and adults at the Art Center; Elderhostel Programs

Facilities: Handicap access (small parking lots on Ward Avenue and Victoria Street, first-come, first-served); two historical buildings; Pavilion Cafe (open for lunch only); The Academy Shop; Doris Duke Theatre (capacity 280); Robert Allerton Art Research Library (free and open to the public); Academy Art Center at Linekona (offers exhibitions, classes and workshops)

Parking: The Honolulu Academy of Arts maintains two parking lots.
- Art Center lot: Mon-Sat 7:00 am-11:00 pm, Sun 10:00 am-6:00 pm The fee is $3 for every 4 hours with validation, or $4 flat rate (evening) without validation or for parking beyond the validation period. Parking during member openings is free.
- 1035 Kinau Street Lot: (Diamond Head of the Admiral Thomas building) This lot is closed to the public during regular museum hours but is open and free during evening and weekend hours until 11:00 pm.
